New Traffic Flow

Thank you for working together to for a safer student drop-off and pick-up!

  • 33rd Ave and 34th Ave on the south side of the school are too congested at pickup.  Please park several blocks away from the school. There’s ample parking on other nearby streets. Bonus: walking a few blocks is a great way to get exercise at the end of the school day!
  • Come onto the playground to retrieve your child from their classroom line. This keeps our kids safe and also helps build community. With parental permission, 4th and 5th graders can obtain green walking passes from Erika. Otherwise, kids cannot leave school grounds without a caregiver. Follow the school traffic policy. A few key reminders from the policy:
    • Always drive and park on the right side of the street.
    • 34th (between Horton and Hinds) and 33rd Ave S (between Hinds and Spokane) are both one-way south at drop-off and pick-up.
    • Do not make u-turns or back up!

Questions? Contact the front office: 206-252-7400. Erika and Helina are always happy to help! You may also email Alana Haider (principal) amhaider@seattleschools.org or Quinta Thomas (ass’t principal) qothomas@seattleschools.org
