Principal’s Community Update 5/15/23

Message from Principal, Alana Haider:

Dear Muir Community,

After wrestling with a life-changing decision, I have determined to step away from my role as John Muir’s principal. This was a very difficult decision to make, but I realized that I do not want to compromise my ability to perform at 100% here while I focus on other aspects of my life.

I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to work with and get to know staff, students, and families in this unique, amazing community the past three years. A priceless life experience!

The district will soon share information with you regarding the steps that will be taken to find and hire a new principal. Stay tuned for how you can contribute your wants/needs in filling this position. Thank you for your support, and I wish you nothing but the best in years to come!

Muir Aftercare (ARC) sign-ups are Tues, 5/16/23 at noon!
