Clothing Donations Requested

We need clothing, mainly bottoms (pants and sweatpants), to fit children Kindergarten-2nd grade. New or gently used (in great condition, please!) items will be gladly accepted at the front office.

Talent Show!

Join us this Wednesday, Dec. 14 to celebrate all the talent in our school community!  Doors will open at 5:00 pm, with student performances beginning at 5:30. In addition to student and staff performances, we’ll be joined by community members who will share their talents.  There will be pizza and community resources available for everyone. This is a great opportunity to come together before the winter break! If you’re able to pitch in with a shared dish or lend a hand volunteering, please sign up at the links below.  We hope to see you and your family here!

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

There will be no school for teachers/students on Monday, January 16.

Masking Indoors Recommended

Seattle & King Health Officer Dr. Jeff Duchin joins other local health officers and health care leaders in recommending masking in indoor public spaces and other prevention measures given the high level of respiratory viruses circulating and stress on hospitals. If you would like your child to wear a mask at school, please don’t hesitate to send them with masks and let your teacher know. We also have masks on hand here at Muir and are happy to provide them to any child or adult.

Questions? Contact the front office: 206-252-7400. Erika and Helina are always happy to help! You may also email Alana Haider (principal) amhaider@seattleschools.org or Quinta Thomas (ass’t principal) qothomas@seattleschools.org
