Lion Pride Community Update 12/1/23

Literacy Night: “Books Light the Way: Reading for a Bright Future” on December 7th from 4:30 to 6:00. Bring the family for an evening of stories and activities promoting the joy of reading. Let us explore the world of books together for a brighter tomorrow! 

Kwanza Celebration: On Wednesday December 13th, from 4:30pm to 6:30 pm join us as we gather to recognize, learn about, and celebrate Kwanza. Kwanza celebrates black history, values, family, community, and culture. The evening will include student performances, a black authors marketplace, family resources, and dinner.  

December 14: Grade 4 field trip to The Nutcracker 

Keeping a healthy learning environment: As we continue to prioritize the health and well-being of our school community, we want to emphasize the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for all students. If your child is feeling unwell or exhibiting symptoms of illness, please keep them at home until symptoms improve. Day before winter break: The school day will end 1 hour early (1:25 pm) on December 15th.
